Here's where I dine when I go to Beaver Creek.

If you are in the mood for:

Mexican Food, go to

Fiesta's New Mexican Cafe
Don't even waste your time on the others. You will have to take a short drive (from Beaver Creek / Avon) into Edwards, but it is worth it. Great hot sauce...I prefer the spicy. There is shredded beef at this place, so don't be shy.

Deli, go to

Avon Bakery & Deli
Once again, no need to waste time on the others. This place is it! Certified organic flours used to bake their vast array of wonderful breads. The sandwiches are out of sight; I love the Italian cold sub on sourdough.

Pizza
Tips: I would go New York or Chicago. Skip the Blue Moose. Instead get into the car and go into Avon, which is just down the hill from Beaver Creek.

Chicago-style, go to

Zacca Za
If you want wanting an actual taste of Chicago, the go to Zacca Za. There are many places that say they serve Chicago style pizza and they are usually full of it. This place is for real. Just remember this piece of advice, a small pizza goes a long way. Plenty of other great stuff on the menu too. Great views, and can be a nicer dining experience than a regular pizza place.

New York Style, go to

Pazzo's Pizza
Maybe it's not exactly New York style, but it's close. Lots of other items on the menu, but I have only had the pizza and it was great.

Marko's Pizzeria
Also pretty reminiscent of NY style. Head over to Edwards and you'll find it next to Fiesta's.

Casual Elegant Dining
The Golden Eagle Inn
This is just a wonderful, casual with elegant atmosphere kind of place! Serving American Cuisine. Try the trout, or the elk!

Italian Restaurant
Ristorante Ti Amo
Great food and great prices. Get the Carciofo alla Griglia, which is "two artichoke halves grilled to perfection and served with roasted garlic remoulade" for starters. Highlights for me include Scaloppine all’arancia, "Veal scaloppine sautéed with oranges and celery in a vodka orange sauce over angel hair pasta", if I'm in the mood for something more simple, the Fettuccine alla Bolognese was outstanding. Lot's of delicious wines too. Once again, great prices.....especially for the area.

Fine Dining
Mirabelle at Beaver Creek
This place serves unbelievable French cuisine. The Maine lobster I had was so good it made me want to cry. To this day, the best wine I ever had with dinner. Plan on paying around $75-$200 per person.
